Email Scam – Watch Out

Recently some folks on Watchic Lake have received emails looking for donations, using the WLA and Paul McNulty in the signature field. These emails are a SCAM. They are NOT coming from the WLA. They are not coming from me, as you can see in the From address field.

A second email we have seen appears to be Phishing. It will come from someone you might know, but when you reply, the email address changes to different yet similar address. DO NOT REPLY.

Any time you are asked to send gift cards – Watch Out! Sample email below.
