Ever wonder what happens on the lake over the cold winter months – ice fishing for one!

Over the past few years, Boy Scout Troop 875 has hosted an ice fishing derby on Watchic Lake. This year the event will be held on Saturday February 21 from 7:00 am till 3:00 pm. Registration begins at 5:00 am at Kiwanis Beach. Full details on the event, how register, etc, can be found on the Standish Ice Fishing Derby website. Some photos from past years are posted below.
