WLA board members and local volunteers, recently installed buoy’s around the Dam entrance. These buoys are installed in the spring and removed each fall. Lake users and the WLA board of directors have been concerned about safety at the dam entrance for years. The area around the dam has been used by locals not knowing the risk of slipping into the sluice-way  for years. The board decided to address this risk with buoy’s and signs.
